"Another obscure SNES title that deserves a second look...or perhaps a first."
Occasionally you will find someone who refers to this title as the Super Mario Collection. Well they are right if they came from Japan, because that is how they refer to this cartridge. It has a near complete collection of Super Mario Brothers 1,2,3 and the Japanese version of Super Mario Brothers 2. The Japanese changed the Super Mario Brothers 2 version because Americans thought it was too tough. Most people refer to the Japanese version as the lost levels. Interestingly you can play as Luigi in the Japanese version of the game. Pretty damn cool. Why would you want to be this bastard? Because Luigi can jump higher than Mario.
Super Mario All-Stars is a rare game that is a well known but should be tried and that is getting much harder to find anymore. I do have a copy on my web site.
