"Another obscure SEGA SATURN title that deserves a second look...or perhaps a first."

When you issue a score of 10 to a game I hope other reviewers take the same approach. That is, that this game that warrants a 10 must be flawless in every sense of the word. Not just fun, or exceptional in one area but PERFECT!!! A game so good that time has no bearing on it and years from it's release, it can still hold people captive. For me very few games are a 10. This is one of them.
Graphics- The Saturn cannot do decent 3-d. IT just cannot. As a Saturn owner I have had to listen to that line multiple times. I point out VF2 and Panzer Dragoon 1 and the naysayers say ''Well, that looks nice but not great. Nothing really spectacular'' Well suck eggs naysayers this game has got the goods!!!! BEE-yoo-ti-ful!! This game not only features a sharper resolution than the first but far more complex scenarios and VERY intricate shooting scenes. Just wait until you hit the forest level and trees are whizzing all around you, or even the first level as you run along the ground trying to stop the impending doom!!! Now I realize that graphics have far progressed in these modern times but hot damn nothing can take the place of style in a shooter. What the first game had this sequel gives us more!! Why do I even bother to talk about the graphics? Just buy this game and judge the graphic your self!
Panzer Dragoon II ZWEI is a rare game that is a well known but should be tried and that is getting much harder to find anymore. I do have a copy on my web site.
